Field of activity 2: "Youth and Women Employment Promotion”

The objective of activity area 2 is to support economically sustainable short-term vocational training courses for the unemployed population aimed at subsequent employment in demanded sectors of the economy, opening their own businesses and generally increasing the incomes of the unemployed population.

Within the framework of field of activity 2, measures are carried out aimed at employment and improvement of knowledge and skills necessary for employment of youth and women. These activities are carried out in cooperation with the local employment promotion departments of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development through vocational schools.

Our program has supported training courses in the following areas:

  • Electric and gas welder (welding)
  • Plasters with thermal insulation skills (energy efficient construction and repair)
  • Plumber-sanitary technician
  • Vegetable of protected soil (greenhouse)
  • Animal husbandry and milk processing
  • Carpet weaving
  • Sewer
  • Cook
  • Hairdresser
  • Confectioner

Excellent professional knowledge and skills are essential for long-term employment or for starting and successfully running a business. We contribute to the quality assurance of training courses through:

  • developing courses in accordance with employers' requirements
  • tutorial development and publication
  • in-service training of teachers and apprentices
  • workshop construction and renovation
  • equipment support
  • sponsorship for hands-on training
  • scholarship funding for course participants
  • continuous feedback from experienced experts in the field
  • and much, much more

Not only unemployed citizens registered with the Employment Promotion Offices can attend these training courses, but also those who are not registered as unemployed.

Since 2019 we have been developing and implementing vocational training courses for people with disabilities (PWDs) in order to support their integration into society and improve their chances at the labour market.

Objective 1: To develop and implement vocational training courses for people with disabilities in order to support their integration into society and improve their chances at the labour market:

Develop proposals for the organization of short-term vocational training courses in 12 areas, both for officially registered and unregistered unemployed persons.

Objective 2: To develop proposals for the organization of short-term vocational training courses in 12 directions both for officially registered and unregistered unemployed persons:

Support the implementation of short-term vocational training courses and assistance in the employment of youth, women and persons with disabilities.

Objective 3: Support the implementation of short-term vocational training courses and assistance in the employment of young people, women and persons with disabilities:

Development and implementation of four models of financing short-term courses in vocational lyceums for certain target groups to be approved by the Agency for Initial Vocational Education under the KR Ministry of Education.
